Is it necessary to use special cloths with anti-stat cleaning solutions? If so, what kind? We're especially interested in cleaning the blue (dissipative) mats on our test bench?
Answer
Our Reztore® Surface and Mat Cleaner, which also comes in Wipes. Per ESD Handbook TR20.20 section 5.3.1.14 Maintenance “Periodic cleaning, following the manufacturer's recommendations, is required to maintain proper electrical function of all work surfaces. Ensure that cleaners that are used do not leave an electrically insulative residue common with some household cleaners that contain silicone.”
