Statguard Flooring - Questions And Answers

I think I have taken the scotch gaurd out of my carpet. Question: Is it true you are not suppose to wash the carpets for the first year. I have been here a month and just shampooed my carpets. If not how and where do I get the scoth gaurd to put back into the carpet?

For Statguard® Carpet Protector, and most likely Scotch Guard, anytime the fabric or carpet is shampooed or steam cleaned it will remove the carpet protector. After the carpet is cleaned is a the Statguard® Carpet Protector should be reapplied; this can be done via spraying and the product is sold in convenient spray bottles.
