Question
Please RUSH me a sample 14000 drag chain. Will this work on the 1500 carts we have? Anonymous, Camas, Washington
Answer
Drag chains provide a path from the conductive structure of a cart to the floor. As long as the floor is conductive and the all the parts on the cart are electrically connected, then the drag chain will help to keep the cart grounded. Some carts use insulative bushings to connect the shelves to the uprights. To remedy this, you can drill a hole in each upright-to-shelf joint and secure a screw which will electrically couple these components.
