Question
Can Statshield metal-in bags be used for containing objects to create a micro-climate for preservation/conservation purposes? - Anonymous, Vancouver, WA
Answer
Yes, you might be able to do this, depending on the sensitivity of the items contained within. You'd of course need to heat seal the bag and possibly do this under vaccuum. A better choice would be to use our MVB bags, as they are thicker and have a much lower MVTR (moisture vapor transmission rate). Do you currently use our ESD control products? In addition our web site incorporates eCommerce substantially reducing your transaction costs as you place orders for your ESD protective products on-line.
