Question
What is the approximate life span of ESD workbench surfaces. I'm not sure what -Anonymous
Answer
The life span of an ESD workbench surface will depend on the material and the manufacturer. There are a variety of worksurfaces such as rubber, vinyl, fiberglass, laminates and polypropylene. The durability is dependent on the application. Rubber is the best general mat surface having good chemical and heat resistance properties, laminates and fiberboards are also good to, but more rigid and typically used for more permanent worksurfaces.
